I really liked AdGuard it has lots of customizations and filter options which are useful, but I am not willing to let them spy on me. The extension installs in two parts: one is AdGuard and the other is "AdGuard Safari Icon." While AdGuard itself will state that it doesn't have permissions to read anything, the Catch-22 is that you must have "AdGuard Safari Icon" enabled in order to actually use the AdGuard extension. It can also view your browsing history on all web pages. Look under Safari/Preferences/Extensions under "AdGuard Safari Icon" and it states that it can read passwords, credit card information, and all sensitive information from every page you visit. I used it as my main ad blocker until I realized this.
